Gina Valencia Ramsey - Gina Valencia Ramsey

Pecking away on her kids typewriter, Gina discovered the joys of story-telling. As a kid, she re-wrote her own versions to classic children's fairy-tales and was creator and writer to her own family newsletter. By age nine, Gina knew she wanted to be a writer.

Gina Valencia Ramsey wrote for her high school and college newspapers, majored in Journalism and Spanish from the University of Southern California, and served as the sole bilingual-reporter on staff for a daily newspaper on the Central-Coast. Aside from newsreporting, Gina enjoys writing about a variety of topics including parenting, education, spirituality, outdoor recreation, sports, and health and wellness, as well as creative writing and journaling. Her freelance work has appeared in Muscle & Fitness Hers Magazine.

Gina is a blessed wife and mother of two rambunctious boys who pull her in a hundred different directions. She is also an elementary school substitute teacher in Los Angeles.
